The two minute film documents the visionary method for projecting crafted works into virtual worlds and its aid in the development of large-scale contemporary projects. From mid-journey to the unreal engine, photogrammetry to 3D renders, the film presents the Kaiyō Collection, commissioned by renowned interior designer Nicole Hollis.In Nic's words, this process affords the virtual dimension amongst crafted work 'as another material' that can be layered within the commission. It enables possibilities for artists and designers to best present their creative projects with our technological world.
We are so proud of this extraordinary commission which took place at such a momentous scale, resulting in fourteen hand-crafted pendants. This project emerged from a truly collaborative approach, combining physical labour, material expertise and virtual technologies towards the creation of an ambitious designed interior.
