We acknowledge the shift within TEFAF Maastricht and New York, where centuries of fine art, design, and rare objects converge. In this rarefied environment, craft is no longer peripheral; it stands at the epicenter of topical dialogue, revealing how hand-driven processes resonate across time and celebrate our humanness.

Exhibiting in the Armoury’s Historic Rooms, the display features a selection of works by international artists such as Ernst Gamperl, Ian Collings, Luke Fuller and Eleanor Lakelin. While distinct, their works collectively embody exceptional skill, the use of natural and experimental materials, and the importance of the haptic. Our vision is to challenge the traditional divide between "craft" and "fine art," positioning material intelligence as a balance between respect for historical skills and their relevance within contemporary arts.

 In a fast-paced technological world, the handmade is no longer perceived as nostalgic but a vital, modern practice that our artists are actively redefining through material, memory, and the enduring intelligence of making.
