Exhibiting in the Armoury’s Historic Rooms, the display features a selection of works by international artists such as Ernst Gamperl, Ian Collings, Luke Fuller and Eleanor Lakelin. While distinct, their works collectively embody exceptional skill, the use of natural and experimental materials, and the importance of the haptic. Our vision is to challenge the traditional divide between "craft" and "fine art," positioning material intelligence as a balance between respect for historical skills and their relevance within contemporary arts.
