Description
Dark Acre establishes the conceptual ground of the series. The work reads as a bounded field—an acre not measured by utility but by density and pressure. Its surface absorbs light unevenly, producing a sense of depth that resists immediate comprehension. Rather than offering a stable image, the piece behaves like a territory that has been worked, depleted, and reconstituted. It carries the residue of labor and attention without revealing a clear chronology. The result is a form that feels both ancient and contemporary, as if it belongs to a landscape shaped by forces that predate and outlast human intention.
