Description
“My aim in this piece was to create an object that feels alive—a creature-like, somewhere between a plant, an insect, and a body but still poetic and beautiful even in the strange way. The glass part is like a seed or an egg, while the organic form around it is sprouting out, growing, maybe even consuming or protecting the glass… The two materials meet at this intersection, creating something in between nature and object. For me, this is not just about making a lamp. It’s about creating an entity, something that challenges what lighting can be. I want my pieces to feel like they belong to nature, even if they’re made by hand—something that feels both familiar and a little strange at the same time.” -
