  • Gallery Assistant

    Job description


    We are looking for a driven, young professional (1+ years experience) to join our team. We specialise in craftsmanship-led international art and design and are seeking a candidate who is proactive, committed, and ready to thrive in a world-class gallery setting.


    Role OverviewProvide administrative, database (Art Logic), and logistical support to streamline gallery operations, exhibitions, and client commissions.

    Reports to: Senior Operations Manager

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Database & Inventory: Input and maintain comprehensive records for artists, artworks, and suppliers. Manage sample stock, technical display data, exact packing/crating dimensions, and track artwork locations.
    2. Exhibition & Event Support: Organise logistics for Private Views (catering, security, event hire) and research relevant industry events to share with the team. Assist with staff travel and managing the staff diary.
    3. Document Control: Manage and file consignment/loan agreements, condition reports, certificates of authenticity, and post-sale care instructions.
    4. Gallery Operations: Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to log maintenance issues and manage daily office and gallery supplies.
    5. Computer Proficiency: Applicants should possess high digital literacy, with proficiency in Artlogic. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is also desirable.
