Description
This octagonal seat is a thrown and facetted form created from 6 separate elements. Two separate forms are built up with 4 coils, one is then inverted and joined to the other, 2 slabs are shaped to form the top and bottom. The material is an Etruria marl, known as Sedgley Blue, a famous brick clay, an unprocessed natural clay, used in brick-making and therefore incredibly durable and suitable for outdoor settings.
