Description
This circular seat is coiled and thrown by hand and is built up through six elements: 2x slabs and 4x coils. The clay is a natural clay used for bricks and is therefore incredibly resilient and environmentally stable. The piece has been fired twice: firstly it is bique-fired and then a slip has been applied before being high-fired resulting in vitrification. The speckles are caused by impurities in the underlying clay body which give the surface a rich texture and lively variation and testify to the unprocessed nature of the clay.Join our mailing list
