For the consultancy the emphasis when considering an art collection is to provide value for money, with a keen eye on quality and innovation and a desire to promote the work of young up and coming artists.
Whether you are relocating or refurbishing; requiring art for a small meeting room or a city headquarters, Sarah Myerscough Fine Art offers a personal, professional and independent advisory service for selecting contemporary art to your specifications.
The Gallery also works with private collectors to establish contemporary art collections for their home. Projects range from a single commission to a whole range of paintings, photographs, sculpture and Applied Arts, including glass, ceramic and turned wood. Budgets vary enormously depending on a collector’s preference for young up-and-coming artists or more established names.
The commissioning process is very popular with both Corporate and private collectors for a single painting or for example, an in-situ sculptural wall panel. The client will meet the artist at home, in the office or at the gallery, the artist will then make a proposal with sketches or maquettes. When the client is happy to proceed a deposit of 1/3 is paid and on completion, happy acceptance of the work and installation the remaining percentage due.
